At the Show - Exhibits

One of this week's exhibits is "The Lap of Luxury" a charming 1:24 scale vignette from the collection of Barbara Jones, Chairman of the Good Sam Show. "I obtained it in an estate sale at Good Sam about 2004 and displayed it in 2010 to honor Williamson Walton Marble. Judee Williamson and Nicole Walton Marble made the furniture in the scene in 1988. They were new dealers at the show that year. The doll was a gift from IGMA Artisan Jan Duda." Barbara has been making miniature vignettes and furniture since 1976.

"The Marquand Conservatory" in 1:12 scale from the collection of Greg Anton of Greg Anton Interior Design, San Jose, CA. The  interior is based upon the original which was built for Henry Gurdon Marquand (1819-1902) an American financier, philanthropist and collector. Antique elements were used in all the construction of the setting. Photos courtesy of Connie Sauve. All flowers were made by Pat Richmond, a dealer at Good Sam the last six years. pat@twinheart.com, http://www.twinheart.com/
