Dealer Dana Burton, Miniature Art

Doll artist Dana Burton will be offering a one-day class on Monday, October 15, to create "Margo, a Romantic Steampunk Figure." Her business is "helping anyone - anywhere - with any budget" learn how to create miniature 1:12 scale porcelain dolls. When Dana first started dollmaking, only patterns existed. Since she doesn't sew, Dana revolutionized the concept of seeing shapes and creating clothing out of them. This unique approach allows her to create lifelike humans (frozen in time), rather than static dolls. Be sure to stop by her table. New classes and kits are announced thru her newsletter.
