This year, JBM Miniatures has come from Australia to be a dealer at Good Sam. They have a fine selection of 1:12 and 1:24 scale miniature furniture, which includes pieces that are unique JBM designs. Their designer apprenticed as a cabinetmaker in England. He worked in many of the famous houses in England doing restoration work on antique furniture. IGMA Artisan Craig Roberts, The Hairy Potter, has been a dealer since 2011. A master potter, he makes miniature pots, potter studios, rustic furniture, and more. Craig works in 1-inch scale and 1/2-inch scale, and incorporates a great sense of whimsy and fantasy into much of his work. He teaches classes, and is a popular instructor. The Tasting Room was built in the monthly Saturday classes held in Morgan Hill by The Mini-Cals and Through the Looking Glass. Judy says she learned a lot in those classes. Ruth Stewart, Stewart Dollhouse Creations, is introducing 3D statues at this year's show. Made with a 3D printer, the statues range from 1:12 to 1:48 and include a few 1:144 scale. A lot of varieties will be available with bronze, gold, clear glass, white pearl and stone white finishes.
