Workshop with Artist Barbara Stanton

IGMA Fellow Barbara Stanton will be teaching a miniature oil painting workshop on January 17th. The subject will be determined by the students' interest. The class is geared for beginners who have never painted before. Students with full size painting experience would have fun painting minis, too. Dealer Phyllis Hawkes - Folk Art & Painter

Working mainly in 1:12 scale, IGMA Fellow Phyllis Hawkes paints fine art and folk art reproductions and commissions. She paints antique, contemporary and custom signs, and decorated folk art furniture. Phyllis also makes 1/2" and 1/4"acrylic paintings and signs, as well as paints small scale folk art furniture.

Josephine "Jo" Meyer was born in Italy, where she studied art and restoration. She likes recreating the work of the old masters, the impressionists, and abstract art in miniature.
