Each year, the Show brings together more than 100 U.S. and international artisans and dealers, including a number of I.G.M.A. Artisans and Fellows. They offer collectors unique, well-crafted 1-inch, 1/2-inch, and 1/4-inch scale miniatures from around the world.

Exhibit: "Out of Africa"

Exhibit Chairman Connie Sauve of Stockton, CA displayed "Out of Africa" at the 2011 Good Sam Show. Most recently, it was featured in the February 2015 issue of Miniaturas magazine, Spain. Email subscription requests to miniat@arrakis.es. The staff is fluent in English.







An IGMA Fellow in Figures, Connie made the doll. She also made the cherry herringbone floor from scratch, the canvas trunk, all of the books, and dressed the bed. Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day has long been associated with romantic love. Inspired by Gustav Klimt's dazzling painting, The Kiss, each year doll artist Stephanie Blythe tries to make one new Kiss Couple.

2014 Good Sam Show: "The Phoenix" by Karen Renee

"The Phoenix" by Karen Renee was featured on "Through the Looking Glass" in the March 2015 issue of Miniature Collector magazine. The hand-sculpted Phoenix is 6" tall. Its crest is hand-painted ostrich feathers and the train is custom dyed Whiting cape feathers. The body and wing feathers are hand painted, hand-cut Japanese crepe paper. The stand is Sculpey, over a wire form.

Dealer Bridget McCarty celebrates Mardi Gras

Bridget McCarty skillfully uses the traditional Mardi Gras colors of purple, green and gold for her 1:12 scale Holiday tree and wreath. Mardi Gras 2015 is Tuesday, February 17th. It will be celebrated with Carnivals, the wearing of masks and costumes, eating, drinking, and dancing. The next day begins the ritual fasting of the Lenten season.
