Dealer Sylvia Mobley - Figures, Animals, Collectibles

IGMA Fellow Sylvia Mobley creates 1:12 scale porcelain dolls attired in silks, cottons and wools. She makes domestic dogs and cats, wild animals, and a line of resin creatures. The tiny structures in her Haunted Village and Christmas Village are about one-inch tall and have no scale. Judy Orr, A Fairy Walk

Long-time artist and dealer Judy Orr, A Fairy Walk, works in all three scales. She hand-sculpts porcelain and polymer clay character dolls, fairies, mermaids, Santas, elves, storybook figures, and more. Judy makes delightful costumes on mannequin dress forms, tiny elegantly dressed dollies, and wee dolls in watch case pendants. She also offers a variety of Christmas decorations, craft supplies, and more. In past years, Judy has taught popular Friday workshops for adults and children. New Dealer: Wildwood Dollhouses

It has been many years since April and Ron Gill of Wildwood Dollhouses have visited our show. We are happy they will be dealers here in 2014. They have been doing miniatures for 35 years and do one of a kind structures, which can be found in many museums and private collections.

Three Ravens is a shop for witches with windows and doors of real leaded glass. There is a cave for making potions, and they are sold upstairs. Most of the bones are real bones.

The exterior of the Craftsman Kitchen is oak and the interior is cherry.

Books, Curiosities & Oddities from Pat Sweet, Bo Press

Pat Sweet sells as Bo Press Miniature Books. Her books come in two sizes--micro-miniature dollhouse scale under 1-inch, and miniature usually under 3-inches. She makes astronomical and philosophical instruments in miniature: pocket globes, orreries, tellurions. Pat also designs the occasional oddity like a vampire hunter's kit. Les Petites Gateaux were inspired by a Kay Nielsen illustration for The Twelve Dancing Princesses from a German fairy tale (Brothers Grimm, 1812).
