GSAM Instructor Rik Pierce

Rik Pierce of Frogmorton Studios is a very popular instructor in the U.S. and abroad. He uses Creative Paperclay for all of his 1:12 scale designs. Students learn an amazing variety of techniques in his workshops. Rik's imaginative structures conjure up images of English rustic Medieval and Tudor buildings. Each design has its foundation in history, with a lot of whimsy and fantasy thrown in. Rik prides himself in giving viewers "a lot to look at!" rik@frogmorton.com, http://www.frogmorton.com, http://frogmortonstudios.shutterfly.com/

  2. Hi Bennzz61 -- I agree with your comments. Here is what is doable.
1 - Hogwarts. This was a commission from Sally Wallace. Here is her link to photos: http://magicalminiatures.net/the-harry-potter-world/hogwarts-the-castle/

2- The Medieval Folly was a recent Rik Pierce Workshop. I do not know a student who completed his/her Folly and took photos. I will check around, though, and see if I can find a workshop piece that someone completed and took photos. If so, I will put the photos on the Blog.
3 - The English Thatched Roof Cottage, Hobbit House, Ratty's House, Storybook Cottage and the Medieval Lighthouse have all been published.
Send me your email address, and I will provide information to you to obtain copies of the magazines in which the structures were published.
